Brochettes de Boeuf

 
   
Ingredients -
1-3/4 pounds Sirloin, cut into cubes
3 small Onions, peeled & cut into quarters
3 Green Peppers, cored, seeded, cut into quarters
10 Black Peppercorns, cracked
1 small Onion, very finely chopped
1 cup Red Wine
2 Bay Leaves
4 Garlic cloves, finely minced
1/2 cup Sunflower Oil
S alt & Fresh Ground Black Pepper
 
Preparation:
Put the meat in a glass bowl. Add the garlic, chopped onion, cracked peppercorns, red wine, oil and bay leaves and mix well. Marinate 3 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.

Start the coals or preheat the gas grill.

3. Thread the meat, onions and green pepper on the skewers. Cook 5-7 minutes per side for rare, 9-10 minutes for medium and 12-13 for well done.
